The 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad lives up to the touring half of the touring cruiser designation. The 2005 Vulcan 1600 Nomad was developed from Kawasaki's 1600 Classic, not the previous 1500 Nomad. That means it shares the Classic's 1,552cc V-twin engine. Fuel injection, four valves per cylinder and liquid cooling make this a modern V-twin, but the single-crankpin design provides the cadence cruiser riders prefer. A gear-driven counterbalancer keeps the vibes at a pleasant, rather than intrusive level. Shaft drive and hydraulic valve lash adjusters reduce maintenance. Thanks to fuel injection, the Nomad starts right up and is instantly ready to roll. The powerband is broad and smooth, but its unobtrusive nature can be seen as bland or reliable, depending on whether you're the kind of rider who likes "character" (defined as quirks that increase interest) or one who likes no-fuss performance. There are several minor blemishes (see photos). This great looking bike is for sale now at Lucky Penny Cycles in Houston, TX! Come take a test ride with us today! Call us at 346-327-9120. The 903cc V-twin blends traditional touches many cruiser riders demand with modern technology that provides smoother running and allows Kawasaki to meet proliferating noise and emissions standards. Thus the engine spins a single crankpin to provide the old-style V-twin cadence, but a gear-driven balancer and rubber engine mounts keep the worst vibes away from the rider. Electronic fuel injection, liquid cooling, overhead cams and four valves per cylinder improve efficiency, but the radiator is hidden between the front downtubes of the frame, and the cylinders are finned, just like an air-cooled cruiser of yore. Kawasaki says the V-twin produces a peak 58.2 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. Power is conveyed to the rear wheel through a five-speed tranny with belt final drive. There are several minor blemishes (see photos). This great looking bike is for sale now at Lucky Penny Cycles in Houston, TX! Come take a test ride with us today! Call us at 346-327-9120. First off, it looks gorgeous, with proper big-bike styling that fools many a passerby into thinking it's a 600 (aided by the lack of any stickers except, simply, 'Ninja'). It has big-brother design cues - especially the twin headlights, windscreen, fairing, and exhaust. Its genesis is clearly a scaled-down middleweight rather than a hopped-up 125. This is a 'small' bike you can own and stare at fondly without feeling like you're at the arse end of the food chain. The sexiness factor is important to riders of all ages, sizes and pocket depths. Otherwise, we'd all be driving P-reg Fiestas, wouldn't we? So thanks, Kawasaki, for making small sexy too. The build quality is top-notch, and there's nothing on the bike that looks like a compromise. Kawasaki has clearly built the Ninja 300 to a spec rather than to a cost. Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 is, without a doubt, one of the best Japanese cruisers ever built. In order to deliver such a great product, Kawasaki created their biggest V-twin motor, tuned it finely in order to deliver the best of power and torque, and it gave the bike its modern styling. This bike looks very capable and thanks to its 2,053cc fuel-injected V-twin motor it will never disappoint. You will be astonished by the amount of torque delivered by the massive engine, but we all know that what first attracted you were the wonderful design features.  This great looking bike is for sale now at Lucky Penny Cycles in Fort Worth, TX! This bike is more than just about its performance numbers. A lot more. Once you dive into the specifics of the bike, you’ll realize that Kawasaki really took the time to create the Vulcan S as a fully customizable machine that can cater to a wide range of riders. It doesn’t matter how big or tall you are; the Vulcan S can be customized depending on your size. You’ve no idea how much that means to vertically challenged folks like me. With the cruiser market continuing to grow, the Vulcan S arrived at just the right time for Kawasaki. It’s got everything you need and want in a cruiser and it’s pretty affordable, too. Can’t get any better than that, can it?  This great looking bike is for sale now at Lucky Penny Cycles in Fort Worth, TX! Come in and take a test ride with us today! Call us at 817-952-9522. The Ninja 650 features a host of much-needed revisions based on proper Ninja styling and engineering concepts. The bike has a much sportier ZX-10R-inspired front fairing and revised ergonomics, plus updated engine, trellis-style frame, and new gull-arm swingarm. The total package loses a massive 42 pounds, which is nothing short of impressive. The Ninja 650’s new ergonomics package includes a lower seat and bars that are positioned slightly more forward, which puts you in a more comfortable riding position. With this bike, you can cruise along quite comfortably at 65 to 70 mph/5500 rpm in 6th gear, or bully it around the twisties with ease. Either way, you’ll relish the added power and smoother throttle response. If there are blemishes, they’ll be in the photos. Kawasaki’s 2015 Vulcan 900 Classic, which is the "base-model" of the Vulcan 900 series, comes across as more than just a mid-size cruiser. It almost hints at being a baby bagger, just without the bags. With more than a couple of claims to "most in its class."  The fat 180-width tire — widest rear tire in its class — makes a great big contact patch for the feel and control of a big bike. The fork offset and rake make for good parking-lot maneuverability, which is where folks often get into trouble at low speeds before counter-steering takes effect.  Kawasaki’s 903 cc V-twin engine looks classic to fit the style of the bike, but inside it reaps the benefits of modern engineering with four valves per cylinder and liquid cooling. The single-pin crankshaft and balancer reduces vibration, which in turn reduces rider fatigue and prevents the high-frequency vibrations that can make your hands go numb on long rides. The saddle-shaped seat keeps your butt on the bike when you grab a fistful of the throttle and that 58.2 pound-feet of torque moves you. Bolted to the engine, you’ll find a five-speed transmission with positive neutral finder. The positive neutral finder benefits newer riders and riders wearing heavy leather boots who may have a hard time feeling the neutral detent. The belt drive is rather ubiquitous nowadays, but the low maintenance and quiet operation are superior to chain- or shaft-drives. In terms of its design, the Vulcan 1700 Nomad is packed with plenty of unique features that highlight the bike’s flexibility and versatility. The classic styling of the bike lends itself to its neo-retro look. The Vulcan 1700 Nomad sports deluxe seats sculpted to provide additional support for all-day rides, which come with a special backrest with integrated grab bars and floorboards for both the rider and passenger to contribute to the Nomad’s long-distance abilities. Meticulous attention to detail are also hallmarks for the Vulcan 1700 Nomad, with the engine covers, bodywork design, and side cases being built with remarkable precision. This Nomad has a fairing and detachable nylon tour pack. There are several minor blemishes (see photos). This great looking bike is for sale now at Lucky Penny Cycles in Bedford, TX! If you want to mix sporty riding with the comfort of a modern tourer than you should take a closer look at the 2014 Kawasaki Concours 14. The motorcycle’s centerpiece is the Ninja ZX-14 based 1,352cc inline-four with variable valve timing. The engine was tuned to provide smooth power across an extremely wide rev range and delivers a maximum torque of 102.0 lb-ft at 6,200 rpm. Needless to say that the motorcycle is also equipped with a long list of technological features like the K-ACT (Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking Technology) braking system, a high-tech traction control system (KTRC: Kawasaki Traction Control) or Kawasaki’s Intelligent Proximity Activation Starting System. If there are blemishes, they’ll be in the photos. This great looking bike is for sale now at Lucky Penny Cycles in Bedford, TX! Come in and take a test ride with us today! Call us at 817-283-1650. Kawasaki says the goal of the project was to make the ZX-10R easier to ride fast. To this end, the electronics suite that has largely gone unchanged since first appearing on the 10R in 2011 has seen major improvement. This includes a completely revamped Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC), newly added engine-brake control, a launch-control mode, quick shifter, and smarter optional KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Braking System) cornering ABS. The system now utilizes a Bosch five axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) measuring longitudinal, transverse, and vertical acceleration along with roll and pitch rates. Kawasaki’s proprietary software calculates yaw rate, a sixth degree of freedom said to sense the rear end stepping out during a powerslide. Kawasaki touts this latest S-KTRC system as the most advanced of all current offerings due to its “predictive” rather than reactive nature of maximizing cornering grip and exit drive.  This great looking bike is for sale now at Lucky Penny Cycles in Fort Worth, TX!
